Kensington Metro Park Boat Rental & Launch

Hey Metro Detroiters! Looking for a fun and safe way to cool off during the July heat?

Head over to Kensington Metro Park and spend some time paddling on Kent Lake in Milford, MI.

Boats available for rental by the hour include:

• One Person Kayak$10/hour

• Two Person Kayak$15/hour

• Canoe $10/hour

• Paddleboats $15/hour

• Rowboat $8/hour

• Character Pedal Boats$17/hour

• Cushions/Life Jackets are also available: $1/hour with $5 deposit

Kensington Metro Park also offers relaxing morning and evening guided tours on The Island Queen III:

• Children (ages 3 – 12) and Seniors: $4/person

• Adults: $6/person

• Children 2 years and under: Free

Boat Rentals & Tours are available on a first come first served basis

Access the boat rentals, tours, and launch near Maple Beach. Park entry is $10 per vehicle, seasonal vehicle passes are also available.
